Like you were saying last time we talked about it, without getting spoilery— it’s often sort of gruesome (though not overdoing it, really), always intense, sort of possibly triggery when it comes to shades of abuse (especially emotional/domestic stuff), and most of the fandom is absolutelyawful, but goddamn. What a fucking fascinating path through character development, narrative device, andchange. 

I have significant reason to believe that my obtaining-to-reading ratio of books is becoming more and more skewed by the week.
